Why You're Here
There are several reasons why you might have stumbled upon this little site of mine and, because I am verbose, I shall list them in bulleted form in order from least to most likely:
- You are here because you're a publisher and have heard that I am an amazing talent which you must give lots and lots of money to.
- You are here because you're not a publisher but have heard that I am an amazing writer whose stories you must read.
- You are here because someone mentioned somewhere on the interwebs that looking at my site is an easy way to kill off a spare hour or two.
- You are here because I have personally begged you to come and look at my site because it gets no hits and I desperately need attention.
- You are here because you typed something completely innocuous into Google and clicked on my link by mistake.
What You'll Find Here
Fiction1 and fanfiction2 mostly, which may range in rating from G to NC17, written by yours truly. This fiction and fanfiction will3 be slash and or queer in nature. If that sort of thing offends you then I would advise you to hit backspace and resume your original Google search.
In addition to the above4 you will also find this site chock full of writerly angst, blatantly un-witty attempts at being witty, a total disregard for common sense, and of course5.
Who, Where, and When
(just to be thorough)
wanderingwidget is an unaffiliated hobby-writer with delusions of grandeur and a propensity for being distracted by shiny things. She does have a college degree but it is not in anything useful (and also not in anything related to creative writing). She lives somewhere in the vasty great wilderness of Ohio with her family, cat, hamster, and two dogs. She enjoys long walks from the laptop to the kitchen, romantic Chinese take-away dinners for one, and the sound that squeaky dog toys make after the squeaker has been punctured.
